The Story

Built on the work, not the marketing.

Woodland Wildlife Removal was founded in 2023 by Memphis locals who’d watched too many homeowners get burned by national chains and fly-by-night operators. The model was simple: do the job right, stand behind it, and build the company on referrals.

A dozen years later, we’ve solved wildlife problems in more than 5,000 Mid-South homes. Most of our work still comes from neighbors recommending us to neighbors. That’s not an accident — it’s the only way we know how to run a business.

Our Standards

What we will never do.

Most wildlife companies set themselves apart by what they say they’ll do. We set ourselves apart by what we refuse to do.

We don’t use poison.

Poisoned animals die in your walls. The smell makes your house unlivable. We trap, remove, and exclude — that’s the actual fix.

We don’t subcontract.

Every job is done by W-2 Woodland employees, not 1099 day-labor. The person who quoted you is the person on your roof.

We don’t price by zip code.

A Germantown attic isn’t more expensive than a Frayser attic because of the address. Same scope, same price, every time.

We don’t upsell mid-job.

The price you got at the inspection is the price you pay. If we find unexpected damage, we’ll tell you — and let you decide whether to address it.

We don’t use cheap materials.

Foam fails. Plastic fails. We use galvanized steel hardware cloth, copper mesh, and structural sealants. That’s why we can work we stand behind.

We don’t take ethical shortcuts.

Wildlife is removed humanely and in accordance with TWRA law. Bats in maternity season get one-way doors after pups can fly, not before.

Meet the Crew

Five siblings. One family business.

When you call Woodland Wildlife, you’re not getting a call-center routing system. You’re getting a Pine. Cody runs the company. Tyler runs operations. David and Bradley are in the field. Elizabeth runs the office. That’s the whole crew — and that’s by design.

Tyler Pine, Operations Manager at Woodland Wildlife Removal

Tyler Pine

Operations Manager

Tyler runs scheduling, dispatch, and the day-to-day. He keeps the trucks where they need to be and the jobs moving on time. If something needs to happen this week, Tyler’s the one making sure it does.

David Pine, Field Technician at Woodland Wildlife Removal

David Pine

Field Technician

David has been in attics, crawlspaces, and on roofs across the Mid-South for years. NWCOA certified, OSHA trained, and a craftsman with hardware cloth. The kind of tech you want sealing your soffit.

Bradley Lindsey, Field Technician at Woodland Wildlife Removal

Bradley Lindsey

Field Technician

Bradley handles trapping, exclusion, and remediation work across the service area. Patient, thorough, and the guy you want on a tricky raccoon job where the mama’s still in there with kits.

Elizabeth Land, Office Manager at Woodland Wildlife Removal

Elizabeth Land

Office Manager

Elizabeth handles billing, scheduling, insurance documentation, and customer follow-up. If your job needs paperwork for a homeowner’s claim, she’s the one making sure it gets done right.

“Five of us. Same parents. Same standards. We can’t be everywhere at once — but when we show up, we show up as a family. That’s the whole point.”

— Cody Pine, Owner

Credentials

Licensed, certified, and not faking it.

Tennessee has serious laws about nuisance wildlife. We follow them. Here’s what our paperwork looks like:

TWRA Licensed

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency nuisance-wildlife control license. Required by state law for everything we do involving native wildlife. tn.gov/twra

NWCOA Certified

National Wildlife Control Operators Association — the industry-standard certification body. Continuing education on humane practices, exclusion engineering, and species-specific protocols.

Angie’s Accredited

Verified Angie’s-listed contractor with documented insurance, license, and customer reviews. Real homeowners writing real reviews after the work was done.

$3M Liability Insurance

Three million in general liability coverage on every job. If we make a hole, we fix the hole. If something goes wrong, you’re covered — not us.

30-Year Electrician On Staff

Wildlife in attics chew through wiring — it’s the #1 hidden cause of attic fires. Our electrician (30 years of residential electrical experience) inspects wiring damage on every exclusion job and repairs it on site. You won’t find that anywhere else in Memphis.

State License # — Coming Soon

Tennessee state contractor license posted on this page as soon as it’s issued. We don’t post it before it’s official — that’s how some companies get caught lying.

Giving Back

Memphis is home. We treat it that way.

We give back to our community as much as we can. Full list of organizations coming soon.

Bonded

Surety bonded for your protection. If we damage your home (we won’t), you’re covered.

OSHA Trained

Confined-space, fall-protection, and respiratory-protection trained crews. Attics are dangerous — our techs are equipped accordingly.

Family-Owned

Five Pine siblings, founded 2023. Not a franchise. Not a roll-up. When you call us, you get a Pine.
